At Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels (ASPHL), we are committed to protect the environment, support local communities and work towards setting new benchmarks in responsible tourism and hospitality.

We have set upon a journey, embedding our green objectives to chart the way towards carbon neutral future.

Sustainability is at the core of our operations, ensuring that luxury and eco-conscious approach seamlessly co-exist with a lasting impact on the planet.

  • ENERGY EFFICIENCY

    ENERGY EFFICIENCY

    ASPHL is currently in the process of adopting and implementing efficient environmentally-friendly green technologies that utilize renewable, emission-free, and clean energy sources like wind to meet electrical consumption needs. We have transitioned to LED light fixtures and upgrading to energy efficient equipment. All hotels will be energy neutral by 2027.

  • WATER CONSERVATION

    WATER CONSERVATION

    In alignment with our sustainability objectives, ASPHL is innovating environmentally conscious approaches and systems for water utilization and recycling.

    All wastewater generated at our Hotels are treated by an on-site plant, resulting in a significant reduction in freshwater usage. The treated water is being used for the flushing system and cooling towers. We are also implementing key efficiency measures like rain water harvesting, low-flow fixtures and incorporating a range of new and updated energy-efficient technologies to address and mitigate water wastage. All hotels will be water neutral by 2029.

  • ELIMINATING SINGLE USE PLASTICS

    ELIMINATING SINGLE USE PLASTICS

    APSHL is dedicated to achieving a 100% single-use plastic free environment to drive conscious consumptions by adopting alternate sustainable options that are biodegradable.

    Annually, we have eliminated 19 lakh plastic units including bottles, cutlery, takeaway containers, straws, stirrers, bags among other plastics across the Group. We use advanced water treatment and purification technologies to eradicate the use of plastic water bottles that are replaced with glass water bottles amounting to 12 lakh bottles per year. All Hotels will be waste neutral by 2025.

  • CARBON EMISSION

    CARBON EMISSION

    ASPHL has partnered with Tata Power to introduce an EV infrastructure across our Hotels Pan India.

    We have also launched an EV Fleet across all locations, towards the Company’s planet positive initiatives. In effect annually, we save about 16,000 litres of Diesel. By 2027, all hotels will shift to a completely EV Fleet across the board. All Hotels shall also transition to usage of 100% green energy by 2030.

  • SOURCING RESPONSIBLY

    ASPHL commits to embedding sustainability into business strategies through the incorporation of diverse social, ethical and economic practices within the supply chain management.

    We aim to decrease our environmental footprint by purchasing local products that adhere to responsible sourcing requirements. Our Hotels are collaborating with ethical suppliers and vendors that are carefully identified based on industry-recognized standards and a detailed framework outlined by third-party sustainability certification bodies.

    Additionally, the Group is also adopting a detailed sustainable procurement policy across India.

    ASPHL has designated a 'Green Champion' at each property who will lead and report the implemented initiatives. There is also an initiative to acknowledge and reward team members who come up with innovative ideas on sustainability.

    We aim to create and maintain green spaces that include native plants covering a minimum of 10% of the available hotel ground area and terraces. The landscape design is sustained by usage of treated waste water.
