The Park, Visakhapatnam relaunches Bamboo Bay with a fresh new look. In its new avatar , it interprets tribal chic in a contemporary manner. Designed by renowned landscape architect and interior designer Michael Richard White a.k.a. Made Wijaya from Bali, the interiors reflect the rich ethnic heritage of East Indian tribal culture. The carefully crafted menu comprises hot, pungent and spice-laced favourites from Coastal Andhra, Chettinad and Hyderabad along with the ever popular Tandoori delicacies from the north. A premium selection of spirits, wines & classic as well as contemporary cocktails are also on offer. Set amidst lush green coconut palms, Bamboo Bay faces the deep blue sea and the sandy beach. A new air-conditioned space opens out into the gardens leading to the sea. The twin seating areas create unique moods ideal for a business dinner or an intimate evening. The exclusive Chef's Table on the beach is the only one of its kind in the city. The candle lit ambience, the phosphorescent surf & the personalized attention to detail while crafting your meal by the Chef, create a truly unique dining experience. The central area is adorned by a traditional hand plastered black and red oxide cement flooring and handcrafted wicker chairs. The space is dressed in bamboo, woven coconut leaf matting, and tribal motifs. An impressive artwork marks the central roofing panel. The rough-hewn wooden chairs add to the rugged, natural look. Music mixes with the sounds of the sea and adds to the very relaxed ambience. |
