room membership

The membership is by invitation only and is available at a nominal fee of Rs. 500 or US Dollars 25. It is renewable annually. The renewal charges are Rs. 400 for all persons resident in India or by exchanging 500 points. For persons not resident in India, renewal charges are US Dollars 20 or by deducting 800 points. For every Rs. 1,000 that you spend at The Park Hotels, you earn 50 points. These points can be exchanged for a variety of gifts. For instance, 600 points can get you a gift hamper from Flury's, 1500 points can get you shopping vouchers for Shyam Ahuja and 500 points can get you an upgrade to The Residence Floor. 72,500 or more points can get you a return ticket from New Delhi to London.

Your membership also entitles you to the following privileges

• Priority on room reservations made at least 72 hours prior to check-in • Early check-in: 0800 hours. Late check-out: 1800 hours, subject to availability • Complimentary access to The Residence Lounge, even if you are residing in a regular room at the Hotel • Complimentary stay for spouse • Three special discount vouchers for stays at The Park Hotels.

GIFT CERTIFICATES

All gift certificates are valid for a specific period and only at the hotels mentioned on the face of the certificate. Please read them carefully and check the reverse for terms and conditions.

POINTS UPDATES

Points updates are sent on request. Alternatively, you may access your points on www.theparkhotels.com by providing your membership number.The terms and conditions given below form a part of your Membership Agreement and you should read them carefully.

Membership

1. Preferred at The Park, hereinafter referred to as the ‘programme', is voluntary and open only to individuals (no groups, associations or corporations can enroll as members) and is valid at The Park Hotels in Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Navi Mumbai, New Delhi and Visakhapatnam.
2. Enrolment of membership will be on receipt of the completed application form along with the payment of the non-refundable membership fee. Only one enrolment per individual will be accepted.
3. Membership is valid for a period of twelve calendar months from the date of enrolment. A membership card will be issued. In the event of the loss of the membership card, the member must inform the Programme Centre in writing and a new membership card will be issued within two weeks.
4. The membership card is valid for use only by the member himself/herself and after signing on the reverse of the card. Membership and related benefits are non transferable.
5. Change of address of the member should be communicated to the Programme Centre in writing.

Earning of Points

1. Points are awarded on charges to a member's room account for spends greater than Rs. 500. Member's will be awarded 50 points for every Rs. 1000 spent on the eligible bill amount. The eligible bill amount does not include paid outs, banquets, service charges, gratuities and taxes.
2. Points are awarded only if the membership card is presented at the Front Office Cashier at the time of check-out. Points awarded are subject to the settlement of bills within 30 days of check-out.
3. To avoid any lapse of benefits, renewals will be automatic by deducting points from a member's account. Should the member wish to pay for renewal, s/he must inform the Programme Centre in writing one month prior to the renewal date. For renewals, 500 points will be deducted from accounts of members resident in India and 800 points for non-resident members. Renewal membership fee of Rs. 400 will be applicable for all the members resident in India and US$ 20 for all non-resident members. This fee is applicable if the points are not available in the member's account or should the member wish to pay for renewal.
4. Points earned have no cash value and can only be used to redeem gifts and services as highlighted in the gift catalogue.
5. Points earned are valid on a two year rolling period and will lapse after two years from the date they are earned. Points are adjusted for all redemptions on a first in first out basis. In case of non-renewals, points accumulated can be redeemed up to six months of expiry of membership and will lapse thereafter.
6. A member may earn points for room bookings, not exceeding two rooms booked in his/her name only.
7. Members will be sent a points update every 30 days. If a member's account is not credited with points for eligible spends within 60 (sixty) days of the transaction, the member may send to the Programme Centre a copy of the bill for the points not credited.
8. Points cannot be earned in conjunction with barters and complimentary stays.

Gift Certificates

1. All certificates enclosed in the membership pack are valid for use at the specified hotels only and subject to availability at the time of usage.
2. The certificates are for one time usage only and have to be utilized in full. The certificates cannot be exchanged for cash or any other services.
3. Benefits and Terms and Conditions are detailed on the certificates. Please read both sides. Certificates cannot be revalidated.

Gift Catalogue

1. Redemptions will be applicable at the ‘point value' indicated against each item and is subject to the availability of points in the member's account. The Park Hotels reserve the right to adjust this ‘point value' at any point, without notice.
2. Redemptions will be through vouchers for services provided at The Park Hotels.
3. Room bookings must be made through the Programme Centre. Any bookings made through travel agents or corporations are not eligible. Bookings are subject to availability and prior reservation.
4. Vouchers for merchandise products are redeemable at stated outlets only. These are also transferable. However these are not valid during the sale periods at the specified retail outlets. The balance left from the voucher is not redeemable in cash. The extras, over and above the voucher amount, have to be settled by the member directly at the outlet.
5. The vouchers are valid for a period of six months, are for one time use only and are non returnable. Points once debited cannot be re-credited to the member's account.
6. If a voucher is lost or stolen, it cannot be re-issued. But if a voucher is torn or spoilt, please mail it back to the Programme Centre and a new one will be issued.
7. For some items the point values have not been specified due to constant fluctuation of prices. Please contact the Programme Centre for exact ‘point value' of such redemption items.
8. Any request for firm date airline tickets is subject to availability. Tickets once issued cannot be returned or re-issued by the Programme Centre and points so debited cannot be re-credited to the member's account. All expenses and activities related to passport, visa and travel related responsibilities remain with the card holder. All international tickets will be ex-India.
9. Merchandise awards are subject to availability. These may be modified or discontinued by the manufacturer. The Park Hotels reserve the right to substitute an item with that of another brand, which in their opinion has equal or better features.
10. The Park Hotels make no warranties and representations either expressed or implied with regard to the type and quality of services provided through third parties.
11. ‘Point value' of gifts includes the cost of local freight and insurance. Charges for octroi and / or state, central duties or any other taxes will be payable by the members. Redemption awards will be delivered only within India. For delivery of gifts outside India, freight charges will be levied based on actuals and will be borne by the member.
12. Certain items will need collection from the nearest Dealer or Office. The member agrees to bear the cost incurred on this account.
13. The manufacturer's warranty information will accompany the gift. The Programme Centre is not liable for any warranty either expressed or implied concerning the gifts. Warranty claims must be directed to the manufacturer.
14. Please allow up to 4 (four) weeks for processing and delivery of merchandise products, air tickets and the vouchers.

General Terms

1. Presentation of the Preferred at The Park membership card is imperative, if the member wishes to avail of the benefits of the programme.
2. The Park Hotels reserve the right to modify or close the programme at any time by giving a six months notice. They also reserve the right to adjust the value of the points or discount percentages at any time to reflect the changing market conditions, with or without prior notice.
3. The Park Hotels reserve the right to refuse membership to any applicant without assigning any reason.
4. The Park Hotels reserve the right to add, modify, withdraw or delete any of the rules, terms and conditions, the duration of the programme, the participating restaurants, with or without prior notice. All decisions in this regard will be final and binding on the member of the programme.
5. Fraud or abuse concerning the programme membership card is subject to appropriate administrative and / or legal action by The Park Hotels, including termination of membership.
6. The benefits available through the Programme Partners are subject to change and are governed by the rules set by the partners.

Privacy Statement

1. With the acceptance of the Preferred at The Park membership, a member agrees that they can be contacted to receive information about the program benefits, special offers and new developments via phone, email or letters. Preferred at The Park program is operated by TLC Relationship Management Pvt. Ltd. (TLC). TLC will have access to your personal information which may be shared with The Park  G roup of Hotels and partners under strict privacy control.
